What type of HVAC do you specialize in?

We specialize equally in residential, commercial and industrial. We have all necessary licensing and tickets, including OBT-1 which means we can do oil work and projects of unlimited size.

Why you?

What is your regular hourly rate? How does this compare against competitors?

We charge $110 per hour during regular business hours and $160 per hour after hours. This is one of the lowest currently offered in Sault Ste Marie. The leading three competitors, Boyd, S&T and DNM charge $150 per hour (survey date Feb 2026).


Service Types and Area

What areas do you serve?

We serve all of Algoma region, including Sault Ste Marie, Thessalon, Chapleau, Wawa, White River, Hornepayne, Elliot Lake, Echo Bay, Agawa Bay, Batchewana, Goulais River, Bruce Mines, St Josephs Island, Laird, Garden River and more. We service as far north as Hornepayne, as far east as Elliot Lake,  and as far north-east as Chapleau.

 

As we are a Canadian company, we are not able to perform service in the United States.

Where are you located?

We are located at 330 Korah Road in Sault Ste Marie. This serves as our central dispatch office and the point from which our techs leave from for service calls. Our drivetime is typically calculated from this central point for billing purposes.

Do you do HVAC for remote lodges or work camps?

Depending on the distance and details of the job, we are open to consider such work. Give us a call to discuss.

Do you do HVAC for mining or heavy industry?

Depending on the distance and details of the job, we are open to consider such work. Give us a call to discuss.

Do you do HVAC for off-grid properties?

Depending on the distance and details of the job, we are open to consider such work. Give us a call to discuss.

Emergency & Reliability

Is Commercial Algoma Heating available 24/7 for emergency repairs?

Yes, we are available for 24/7 emergency repairs for all of Algoma region. Please note that for farther drives, we may quote you up front for the drive time. We do take overnight calls at our main line number which are sent to our current on-shift emergency technician.​

What is your typical response time for a no-heat emergency in Sault Ste. Marie?

It can be as short as within the hour, to a few hours, depending on our service load and the drive time. 

Do you have temporary heating solutions if parts need to be ordered?

Yes, ​we have loaner heaters on hand. â€‹â€‹

What brands do you carry?

We are able to acquire virtually any brand that a customer might request,
